Begin outside Oskar Schindler’s Enamel Factory on Lipowa Street, where your guide introduces Schindler’s story and his efforts to save Jewish workers during WWII.

        The tour is not wheelchair accessible, not stroller accessible, not suitable for pets, and is not recommended for pregnant travelers or people with heart conditions. The tour includes transportation with a driver only on the way to and from Krakow, while sightseeing in the Salt Mine is conducted with a local guide.  The regular Salt Mine tour requires extensive walking and climbing stairs. The tour begins with a descent down the Daniłowicz Shaft to Level I, located 64 meters underground, which requires walking down 380 stairs. The route then continues deeper to 135 meters underground, and there are approximately 800 steps in total along the entire route. After the tour, visitors return to the surface by a mining elevator; the lift is not available for the initial descent. The temperature in the mine is between 14°C and 16°C, so warm clothing is recommended even in summer, along with comfortable walking shoes. The maximum allowed size of backpacks or handbags is 35 x 20 x 20 cm. Larger belongings must be left in the vehicle, which will be locked and supervised by the driver. The tour is not recommended for guests with mobility limitations, and a special accessible route is not provided. Guests with claustrophobia should note that the tour takes place deep underground and may feel uncomfortable. Larger belongings may be left in the car during the tour and will remain secured. The Schindler Story tour takes place entirely outdoors and operates in all weather conditions. Please dress appropriately.
